Mizzou Football to play Army in Armed Forces Bowl

COLUMBIA, Mo — Mizzou Football officially knows its bowl destination.

The SEC announced that the Tigers are headed to Fort Worth to play Army in the Armed Forces Bowl on December 22nd. The announcement confirmed an earlier report from The Action Network's Brett McMurphy.

MU finished 6-6 under second-year head coach Eli Drinkwitz and will play in its first bowl game since the 2018 season. The Tigers were selected to play in the Music City Bowl last season after a 5-5 record in a COVID-19 pandemic shortened season. A coronavirus outbreak within the team, however, canceled the game.
