Trey Lance isn't ready to lead a football team

He telegraphed almost all his throws and his mechanics. His handoffs were slow and deliberate. The guy has hardly ever played in rain even.

San Francisco has a good defense. They need to recognize their error and start Jimmy Garoppolo in Week Two.

though several of those were far from flagrant or intentional.

Lance doesn’t have the skill set nailed down … looks like he lacks confidence. I thought Shanahan’s play-calling got more conservative as the game progressed too. I think it was because of Lance.
