Game of Thrones browser game in the works

Game of Thrones (later set as Game of Thrones Seven Kingdoms in full name by Bigpoint) is a new browser-based MMORPG inspired by the TV series with the same title which is adapted from George Martin’s bestselling fantasy novel series, A Song of Ice and Fire. Bigpoint has gained the license from HBO and partnered with Norwegian developers of Artplant to bring the fantasy game to public.

Game of Thrones will feature the same setting of the medieval world of Westeros and the Seven Kingdoms depicted in the novels. What makes the novel will be preserved and presented in the game as well, such as the action, politics and corruption, etc.. Great visuals are one of the highlights. And the game will run on the Unity platform. Currently the game is still in early development stage with the first beta slated in the fall of this year.
