BTW, when you get to the first gate, you have to click the red button to the right of the gate with E, then hold down E key on the valve.

bought it a bit back, but at least the steam version has a default setting that cannot no matter which .ini (steam or the 2 application ones) be changed after installation, my old monitor was incapable of it....and metro 2033 like an intelligent program changes it back to the default (1440 x something) and tries to launch anyways so fun fun!

Was really fun. My first FPS shooter for the PC. There is a sequel confirmed for 2013 called Metro 2033 Last Light.

All I have to say is, I hope they fixed the really frustrating bugs.

If so, the game is okay. I found the opening sequence a bit disorienting and some of the game mechanics dodgy.
