I just ordered the Ratchet & Clank Collection HD remix trilogy for ps3. Good deal at $17 on amazon. I've never tried these games before. Any tips or comments?
Cheers.

(29,047 posts)I really liked them. The controls in the first one aren't as good as the others, but it has great levels and weapons.

(29,047 posts)and now I am playing Rogue Legacy, which is very difficult, but I'm making some progress. I ordered Metro Redux off Amazon for the PS4, which is a remastering and reworking of the two Metro horror games, and it should be here tomorrow.
Oh, edit to add: I definitely suggest playing Ratchet and Clank in order because the stories build off each other, for the most part.

(11,833 posts)How are you liking your PS4? How does it compare to the PS3 for streaming movies and everything else? In your opinion is there a noticeable improvement?
I'm thinking about getting a PS4 when there's a price drop and more games. Right now I'm kind of drooling looking at the Handsome Jack Collection of Borderlands for PS4, coming out late March. It include Borderlands 2 & Borderlands the Pre Sequel plus all the dlc for both, all remastered, running at 60 fps.

(29,047 posts)The games have better graphics and load times, which is cool, but what I love most are the games. I feel that the last gen consoles mostly focused on online shooters, as far as innovation goes. I love shooters, but I felt like other genres were forgotten about. There were some great exceptions though, such as Dragon's Age, Demon's Souls, Diablo III, Dead Island, Bioshock, The Last of US, and some others. Horror was all but forgotten about. There was one Silent Hill game, but I wasn't too into it. It had some cool shit, but the monsters were dumb. The PS4 has been putting out some really good horror, such as P.T. (which is free and scared the shit out of everyone), The Evil Within, Alien Isolation, Outlast, Daylight, and some others, and the PS4 hasn't been out that long.
I love Borderlands, so I might have to pick up the Handsome Jack Collection. I saw a PS4 in Target yesterday that came with the remastered The Last of US. That game was awesome on the PS3. One of my favorites.
It streams fine. I haven't noticed any difference with movies to be honest. I stream on my X360, PS3, and my PS4 and it's all the same.
