(21,506 posts)Its free to play and in a lot of ways just your typical MMO. What is different is the combat . It is targeted and requires active dodging and aiming . It is different than the others in that you have to pay attention in fights and watch for cues to avoid big damage.
It might scratch that something different itch.

(497 posts)Going back to tab targeting after Neverwinter and Wildstar is hard lol

(21,506 posts)But it was one of the better combat mechanics I have played. I actually downloaded it after posting to you cause I have been itching to mmo myself lately and i remembered how much fun I had with the combat in that game.
I liked wildstar but the GUI seemed really busy to me almost overwhelming. Never really got the groove going.

(497 posts)Loved Wildstar! Would go back if que would pop lol
Neverwinter had alot good but I couldn't get over the rediculous grind, failure to address bugs and exploits....and no game has sucked money outta me like that one lol...pissed me off lol...I'll never go back there....

(497 posts)im level 2 - made a Priest...like it so far need to mess with my keybindings a bit...

(21,506 posts)If you can get past that..
Some of the classes are just dead fun in combat.
I am actually stuck on it now again the new ninja class is gobs of fun jumping around in and out of combat. There is a lot of new stuff since I played last. So it feels kind of fresh.

(13 posts)I remember when I tried to install Tera, I had lots of problems.
The initial download took 15 hours, and the patcher kept getting stuck.

(21,506 posts)I used the steam option. Had no problem whatsoever with it.

(13 posts)That one took forever and just wouldn't work.
So far this US installer is fine. Will have to wait until tomorrow to be sure.

(13 posts)Overwatch! The game doesn't require any experience in the shooter genre, because some of the cast don't require aim. Action packed and based on teamplay. I recommend this game!

(21,506 posts)Worth the cost IMHO.

(497 posts)some undesirables I once knew are there so I'll be avoiding that lol

(13 posts)In a game with millions of players, with the option to play on a different server outside the US.
And if you are much better or much worse then they are, you will never be matched with or against them.
The matchmaking is quite good that way.

(13 posts)Didn't its appearance on Steam attract some fresh blood? Last I checked queues did pop later at night and that was before it was available from Steam.

If you're still looking, I can't help but recommend Overwatch again.
