DU has everything. lol
Question for a really old-school approach. I want to get a system/platform (I don't even know the correct terms) to be able to play Crash Bandicoot with my 6-year-old grandson. His mom doesn't want me to get Nintendo Switch or anything comparable because he already has that at home and it's easy for him to be addicted to those games. I loved playing Crash with my daughter when she was young and want to do that again with him. I'd have to get an arcade controller/joystick for me though...lol.
What do I need to do something this basic, without worrying about scaling to newer games? Or maybe I should consider a newer Playstation version but just be strict about limiting games -- if Crash is even available for newer PS versions.
Thoughts? Suggestions? TIA!

(735 posts)My son says you can play Crash Bandicoot on Steam on your computer. Your computer will need the ability to play games on it. You would need to check the game's computer requirements first. You'll have to buy controllers and then buy the games on Steam. There's 3 games in this trilogy. You can buy the USB game controllers on Amazon. Here's the link for Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/731490/Crash_Bandicoot_N_Sane_Trilogy/
Hope that helps!
