(21,894 posts)Just create your Battlenet account here:
https://us.battle.net/account/creation/tos.html
Then log in here:

Then follow the instructions in the OP to download (if I recall, the client is only a few meg... 15 or 30 but the game itself is around 15 gig).

(10,039 posts)I can't get a straight answer. All they talk about is how you can earn monies in the game.
Whisp
(24,096 posts)but there will be premium shops to pay for stuff with real money - that's the way now.

(21,894 posts)I got about 3/4 of the way through and then it just sat... I tried re-starting a few times but it just got stuck in the same place each time. I'm not sure what the problem was.
Did anyone get in for some play time?
The beta caused random BSODs for me. And more than half the time it wouldn't even let me start the game.
What I saw of it looked pretty polished, though. It was classic Diablo gameplay; there wasn't any real need to use the keyboard, although the skill switching was a little bit clunky when I wanted to change between poison dart (I was playing as a witch doctor) and other skills. The visuals were very beautiful, but many of the more interesting visual effects (destruction of environmental stuff for the most part) depend exclusively on PhysX.
This game WILL push your system to its limit, that much I can tell you.
