No wonder the 01 was 86'd

•Scott being honored: As part of an ongoing annual effort to recognize trailblazers in the sport, Wendell Scott, the first African American to win a NASCAR Sprint Cup race, will be recognized this weekend, which coincides with his first start - March 4, 1961, in Spartanburg, S.C. NASCAR created an original decal, which will be placed as a B-post decal on NASCAR K&N Pro-Series West, NASCAR Nationwide cars and NASCAR Sprint Cup cars throughout the Phoenix race weekend.(NASCAR)(3-3-2012)

No wonder NASCAR was so quick to move the TV "General Lee" off stage at Phoenix, Sad there aren't any restored/replica Wendell Scott #34's to pace the field.
