My neighbors have kitchen gardens, slightly electrified. (I had roses in large containers, but squirrels did them in so I gave up.)

(15,124 posts)3. It is a little pricey, but if you have just a small area or a few containers to protect,
you can---seriously---order "predator pee" on line. In either a squeeze bottle or in flakes, real bobcat or coyote urine is available to scare off most pests, from mice to deer. Pets may not like the scent, but it will not harm them.
Hope this was not too "gross".

apparently so enticing, I QUIT, just do (mostly) ospreys now.
