Last research I did told me this:
Some 80,000 M1 Garands would be re-imported from South Korea. They were first okayed to be imported by the Feds, then denied, then okayed again.
The Civilian Marksmanship Program has nothing to do with importing these rifles.
One South Korean newspaper claimed the imports would start this month, June of 2012.
Lately, I've heard nothing.
