I saw lots of squirrels yesterday!

babies. A lot of them end up getting mowed over when farms are making their hay cut. Sad time.

Neighbor (1/3 mile south of here) saw baby sleeping on their lawn yesterday.

Farmland is 1+ mile south of here, and I often catch deer families sauntering/walking/running, between river and woods.

That is just awful. They must be so well camouflaged that it puts them in harms way. There is no sadness about our neighborhood squirrels, except that they did build a nest in a neighbor's truck engine and chew up the wires.

We have some that jump over the fence, and hang out with the horses occasionally.
