any other rock hounds around here?

My favorite day is spent hiking up and down creeks and looking for various kinds of rocks. I could get completely lost digging in the dirt on a sunny day.

I have some quartz that I would love to make necklaces out of. My son picks up any rock that he thinks is "cool", so my house is full of misc. rocks!

We'd wear goggles and carry hammers and chisels can come home with treasure for them to bring for show and tell at school.
