Had a knee replacment last year and decided to buy a bike to get some strength back. Boought a Police mountain bike because it looked durable and versital.
I had not ridden in 30 years and, although I love my bike, the tires loose most of their air pressure in a matter of a few days. Is this common now? Seems that when I was a kid, I never had to add air to the tires. Or do I just have bad tubes that need to be replaced?

(26,366 posts)If it is schrader (same valve as car tires) place a drop of water on the valve and see if the leak is there.
(sometimes the valve cores are loose).
