Or did the exchange between Ian Wright and Alexi Dallas look a little heated during this morning's post England- Panama match?
I think Wright might have found a way to get under Lallas' skin...
Maybe rubbing in the fact that Panama qualified over the USA?

(26,159 posts)I did notice that Lalas' voice was up a few notches.
On a semi-related note, I have been thinking, for a while, that since there has been the Women's World Cup since 1991, "the" World Cup should henceforth be called The Men's World Cup.

Mind you, Panama were dreadful, and that does make you wonder how poor USA were to fail to qualify ahead of them.

(6,261 posts)I know, CONCACAF referees let them get away with all sorts of antics, but this Panama side are worse than Saudi Arabia I think. I can't say I feel any sympathy for them either, as I'm just glad there weren't any red cards or injuries. Probably because Panama gave up hope early.
As to your question, I was also watching BBC coverage which has been pretty decent.
ETA: Sadly Ian Wright is indeed on the ITV panel. I never understood what he's supposed to add either.
