I was watching Wolves - City at the time, but I know how things turned out with Liverpool - WBA They'll never sack Dalglish (surely?), but resigning or promotion upstairs would look likely to me. Maybe another year if they won the FA cup?

When I saw the score I was shocked. No one loves liverpool football club more than Kenny Dalgish and he would never do anything to harm the club. Kenny can stay as long as he wants but if he thinks he is harming the club he will leave. This season was about cutting the wage bill and getting rid of dross. 4th was a major stretch- For me it was always about the cups. If we win two I would consider it a successful season. Unless they bring in Jose (I don't want him) there is no reason to change the manager.

...but, from what I understand, LFC dominated from almost start-to-finish, but had several shots hit woodwork, several others just miss, and one utterly-obvious penalty get waved-off. Meanwhile, WBA. playing the Owl's favorite brand of anti-football, converts their one chance, caused by a back-line breakdown.

(In other words, like about 80% of Liverpool's losses this season.)

I doubt this game would have anything to do with Kenny's fate, since we were obviously the better team, just hideously unlucky.

And, no matter whether he won or lost, Woy wemains a wanker.

Hideously unlucky for sure but we need a finisher in the worst way. Kuyt Maxi are defo off- Hendo only 21 will come good if left in central mid where he belongs. Creative mid (not F**** Aqua sparrow fart laini) Winger striker and we should be ok. If newcastle and the bitters can find strikers like Jelavic Ba Cisse for 5-7 mil we can too. If we are going to continue to hoof it long to Carroll have him win everything and not get players around him to gather the flickons. We are not that far away. If the players we brought in would have scored just 5 league goals a piece (all scored more last year) we would be in CL contention. I love Carra but it is time end of.
