Our travel through Highway 50- The Loneliest Road in America!

We recently traveled from the Border Inn near Baker, Nevada to Carson City, Nevada on a famed stretch of road that over 30 years ago, Life Magazine dubbed "The Loneliest Road in America," Highway 50. To prove that you actively traveled it you must have your guidebook stamped at designated Hwy 50 validation stations. A listing can be downloaded or printed from their website at TravelNevada.com. If you get at least 5 out of the 8 designated stamps, you can mail in the back panel of the book to receive a Certificate of Completion officially signed by the Governor of Nevada. This was an adventure too enticing to resist. We were determined to get all 8 of the stamps. These eight videos comprise our journey. Hope you enjoy watching them!

Wonderful to see these videos, even though I'm late finding them. "God's Country!" How'd you like the wide blue skies? We grew up with sonic booms from the jets. Did you hear/feel some?

The skies were big and beautiful and just about as empty as the long road stretching ahead of us. A sonic boom would have been an awesome experience, but they weren't doing it while we were there. Glad you're enjoying the videos!
