A tourist from the United States was deported from the Philippines and banned from returning after he wrote profanity on immigration forms and acted rude, according to immigration officials.
The 34-year-old American arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport near Manila on a Nov. 7 flight from Bangkok, Thailand, the Philippines Bureau of Immigration said in a Nov. 8 news release.
At immigration, officers reminded the tourist to fill out the required paperwork, officials said. In response, officers said he showed disdain and filled out the form with a fake address, incomplete name and profanity.
The 34-year-old also tossed his passport and his mobile phone angrily to the immigration officer, officials said.
