Related: About this forumI am so excited I have been invited to sing and speak in Sydney
In January my family will go to Auckland, Wellington NZ and from there I have to work in Sydney. Then we will go onto Hobart, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin and Brisbane. If anyone has been to any of these places can you please give me tips on what to do. I have never been to any of them. Thanks in advance

(52,986 posts)Loved both Sydney and Perth. See the opera house and bridge in Sydney and take the public transportation. Try to see Kangaroo Island off of Adelaide and Rottenest off of Perth. I visited a couple of wildlife parks to see and hold some of Australia's unique animals. One was Featherdall near Sydney. Also their aquarium in Sydney. I took a train from Sydney to Perth, but it's booked like 2 years in advance. Try to see the Blue Penguins at Manly (take ferry) in the evening. From Perth, I did a couple of day trips to see giant sand dunes and the wildlife on Penguin Island.
In New Zealand, try to go to Milford Sound, Mt. Cook, and Hobbitron. Lots of native culture things to see. It's an awesomely beautiful country. My favorite was Queenstown on South Island.
I was in both for about 6 weeks in 2022.
