We Lost. And Now a Catholic-Schooled Sexual Assaulter Will

sit on the Supreme Court. He'll be joining other Roman Catholics who were similarly trained on that judicial body. It is in this way that the Roman Catholic Church will achieve its goal of banning abortion. It is in this way that the LGBTQ community will see its hard-earned right to marry and live in peace taken away once again.

The doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church will have gained another powerful judge in the United States, who will vote "the Pope's Concscience."

Religion wins. We lose. This has it been and thus will it be. When will we learn?

Note: For anyone wishing to comment that I did not stay away from the Religion Group for an entire week, that's correct. The damage has been done now. You may gloat in peace, except that I'm back and posting again.

I have no idea what you mean by your forbidding me from offering to coach. In the first place, I'm not qualified to do that, and in the second, what you said makes no sense at all.

I can possibly influence my two Senators. Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith. Both will vote against confirmation in any case. I have absolutely zero influence on any others.

I am moving on to other fights at this point.

You can't "give up" when you have no power or authority to "win". If you wat to be naïve, then that's your business. Stop pissing in our faces for having the courage to face unpleasant realities without the perfunctory self-deception.
