Men cannot bear children. Women can. Therefore, men must cause women to be with child as often as possible.
Making women pregnant is a distraction. Therefore, men who become priests must abstain from carnal relations with women.
Priests, like all men, must eat. Therefore, let women who do not wish to become pregnant feed priests, instead.
Women do not think in the same way as men. Therefore, men should speak and women remain silent.
Women do not typically sexually abuse children, since they bear them. Therefore, it is the priests' job to do that.
Some women are religious by nature. Therefore, let us house those together so they can serve priests.
Man was created in the image of God. Men have penises. Therefore, women are not like God, and may not be priests.
A woman caused Adam to commit Original Sin. Therefore, women are temptresses to sinfulness and must be silenced.
However, without a woman, Jesus could not have been born. Therefore, women are of some value and must be tolerated.
As you see, men and women are equal in the eyes of The Lord. Both have a divine role to play.

(7,888 posts)If only they would give up on the concept of a "virgin birth", and other untruthful claims without scientific evidence, I could ignore their "faith" without proof nonsense.
So far, religions have failed to recognize and celebrate human sexuality and reproduction. this defies all logic and scientific fact.
Papa better get his own house in order. Sexual abuse is not in the rear view mirror. There are Cardinals with daggers and those who control the Vatican Bank waiting to install a new puppet master. imo
