Dinosaurs on Noah's Ark went extinct because the flood wiped out all vegetation

Bryan Fischer of the American Family Association has opinions (usually reprehensible) about Muslims, abortion, gay marriage — the usual sticking points for far-right evangelical Christians. Now he’s trying his hand at paleontology, but it’s safe to say that his claims aren’t peer-reviewed.

On his Focal Point radio program this Tuesday, Fischer tried to explain why the dinosaurs went extinct from a young earth creationist’s perspective. Fischer takes the bible literally, which forces him to hold the belief that the earth is around 6,000 years-old. This belief system has led him, and others like him, down a rabbit hole that concludes humans coexisted with dinosaurs.

Despite his belief that dinosaurs were present on Noah’s Ark, Fischer tried to explain why they went extinct anyway by using a story about the extinction of a prehistoric rhino species as an example — the “Siberian Unicorn” rhino went extinct about 40,000 years ago due to diminished grasslands as a result of the ice age.

If the earth is only 6,000 years old, then how did the unicorn rhino go extinct 40,000 years ago?

because the flood wiped out all the vegetation, how did any other animals survive?

I'd like to ask him if he's figured out exactly how big the Ark would have to have been to hold all the animals, and how much space was needed for the food needed to feed the animals. How did they store all of the insects? Why did they take poisonous snakes and insects on board? So many questions.
