Carrying on discussions about religion requires wit.

There is an established hierarchy of people's wit. From maximum to minimum, it goes:

Quick-wit
Halfwit
Dimwit
Nitwit
Lackwit

The parameters for each level are not precise. Thus it is unwise to apply those labels to others or to yourself in a public way.
