Christian Activist: God Speaks to Us. So Does Satan. But They Sound Different.

So a lot of people hear demonic voices. A lot of people who end up, you know, shooting dozens of people — they’re hearing demonic voices. They’re hearing voices in their head. They’re hanging other voices, right?
So there are a lot of voices out there in the spiritual world that can talk to you. You can hear angelic voices. You can hear demonic voices. And you can hear the voice of the Holy Spirit. And then there’s your own thoughts. The key to learning to hear God’s voice is learning to distinguish the difference between demonic voices, angelic voices, and the voice of the Holy Spirit — and your own thoughts.

Here’s a thought: If you’re hearing voices in your head that are not your own thoughts — especially if they’re telling you to harm other people — please get professional help. It’s not God. It’s not Satan. It’s not an angel. It’s either you, someone playing a trick on you, or something else far more serious.

How do they know Satan isn't the good guy and Jebus isn't the bad guy?

Allegedly these forces are infinitely more omnipotent and intelligent than they are, so how can they possibly know they aren't being manipulated by the nefarious entity rather than the benevolent one? It's not as if the allegedly benevolent one isn't convincing most of them to hate other people while the so-called evil one isn't having any measurable effect on hate.

The voice or spirit in their head, that they thought was God, or the Holy Spirit, could be a "false spirit."

Ironically, evangelical and other Christians are far more confident about themselves and their beliefs, than the Bible was.

Which is of the same nature as "God." This is what can guide Mind if it is cultivated and grows. God does not speak to the Christian because It doesn't have to. The soul knows God's nature; what more is needed?

There aren't so many references in the Bible to souls; mostly to "spirit."

If any of those were always right, then why do different Christian churches believe different things?
