though celibate, a recovered alcoholic, and he ministered to vulnerable communities. He was also
involved in reconciliation work. Truly a remarkable life.

I believe Fr. Mychal was/is a saint; a very human person with foibles, like us all, but one who stretched himself and gave of himself, until the ultimate sacrifice.
