And dedicating one's life to doing good. Not a word about accepting Jesus as one's savior. This is a good ritual and I'm not fond of rituals.

Back when I was a believer, I thought it was a sin to say no to a priest. I had a nun whose favorite saying was, "Don't contradict me even if I'm wrong."

Get the picture? This is why pedophilia is so rampant in the church. Kids are conditioned to think of religious officials as actual agents of God.

He will never, ever acknowledge the uniqueness of the RCC abuse dynamics though. Remember, for him, everything bad is just due to "human nature" and religion is never, ever a factor ANYTIME.
