(2,567 posts)Testin' out the new stuff. It is all right. Did you all know that Kos just "updated" and we are all still getting used to it? It is kind of confusing but I am beginning to "get it". This one looks a lot easier to navigate ...so far.

(2,389 posts)I would leave for good. That site was a pain before, now it's impossible to use. I've yet to find a browser it doesn't crash.
lbrtbell
(2,389 posts)I tried it in Firefox, Opera, NetSurf, and Dillo. Being a Linux user, I'd sooner hang myself than use Internet Explorer, but maybe DKos is optimized for that browser. Yuk.

I found all the hubbub surrounding the change confusing....mostly ignored it....
I am sure I'll get used to it....
or not....
whatever...
Had a lovely 2 hour walk outside today in a gorgeous nature reserve....drew a line and stepped over it...
in celebration of Uranus moving forward.....and so it is.
(where do you find the smilies?)
I really like where you spent your time and the symbolic line you crossed. Wonderful.

(19,288 posts)The wormhole was quite a ride. We've landed in DU3, cosmos-nauts.

(3,747 posts)and that we are on an unfamiliar planet, but at least we still all speak the same language!
Remember Me
(1,532 posts)was like a dying planet. Amazing to see the same metaphor (minus the dying part) here tonight. It felt so surreal to me over there, and all those people who just aren't going to come over here, and I had an image of people who chose to stay behind while others left for the new planet. It felt surreal, and that's what I called it.

(15,888 posts)They were talking about setting up house and changing the name of the site as if skinner et el were going to leave the juice turned on for them indefinitely. I had to laugh, I mean is there any remants of DU1 left around anywhere? Sad man, sad.
BlueToTheBone
(3,747 posts)I felt like I had traveled a worm hole and here I am in a new world that feels so familiar but if so foreign. Your metaphor made me think of 2012 and the ascension stories and the left behinds etc. Although should the xtians leave I am DEFINITELY going to stay behind cause we might get to clean up the mess and keep our planet lovely for awhile.
