I need a quick reading...

Don't know if it is astrological, since a friend mentioned this was supposed to be a doozy week, or if it is physical/energetic, etc...but if you guys 'see' anything in my space or get any hits it would be advantageous...

having sleep issues, not related to drinking or others recreational activities, been fucked up for about 4-5 days now...
2:00 AM/PM seem to have a significance - but it's backwards, days and nights reversed
did this get triggered by the equinox?
is is self sabotage?
going to try melatonin tonite and see if I can;t hit the "reset" button

help!

But then i heard a story about a study where they had people in darkened rooms, trying to determine over the longterm how their sleeping habits would eventually work out. If left to their own internal clocks, when would they sleep?

It turns out that most of them slept 3-4 hours at a stretch, woke for 6-8 hours, then slept again for a few hours. Rather than one long sleep period, they woke and slept in cycles.

Made me feel better!

I've been painting and writing a lot into the wee hours, and I really like the feeling of being awake when everyone else is sleeping. The world is quiet and I can better compose my thoughts. That's hard to do with little kiddos that have to be sent to school every morning, though. Mine are all grown up and out of the house. ( One of my oldest just passed the bar exam! )

Here's hoping the melatonin will work for you

I've been having the same issue for the past 3 days; same times, same strange pattern of day/night reversed.

good to know I am not the only one!

someone told me it could have to do with Moon/Uranus issues...they tend to be the sleep disruptors.

I am also watching the DATE 10/2 because ironically it is my mom's Bday (and I have mommie issues) and there could be some kind of cosmic heads up to the date... so we shall see.
This equinox did NOT feel balanced to me and the weeks preceeding and post are turning out to be freaky indeed!...and have you guys noticed the damn time compression? i swear it is going so fast, can't believe it is already OCTOBER! august was just a week ago wasn't it?

i literally go to sleep at 7am, right after breakfast, wake for lunch at noon, only to go back asleep until dinner at 6pm. and it's been like this for... almost three months now? and the dreams! i can't "come to" when i wake during the day for the life of me, and those endless vivid dreams!

i normally had problems with sleep, as night seems to be my natural pattern (and day is civilization's pattern). but this is a whole new level.

I've been having trouble sleeping for about a week now, or is it longer? I'm so sleep deprived I don't even know... Last night was the worse it's been. Hubby and I both could not sleep and when I did go to "sleep" my mind was still awake..just love when that happens. NOT!!!

which isn't that unusual for me, but like some others here have said, this is getting ridiculous! I usually get to bed around 2-3am and get up around 10-11 in the morning. I need some alone-time at night, so this works pretty well for me. I can read, grade papers, whatever I need or want to do. And I work nights, so this schedule works for me in that respect, too. But lately, I've had insomnia SO BAD! It's daylight before I even begin to feel sleepy. I's like day and night are switching around for me. I don't like it.

Interesting that this is happening to others, too.

Like most ancient legends say the earth stops for three days...then the sun comes up in the west!
