If you find yourself going through hell, just keep on walking...

Suckage abounds, in one form or several; I'm trying to learn the trick of "living by intention, not by sight" ( as some say, live by faith, not by sight ) AS IN: don't look around at the mess you're in and think this is all there is to life.

Step away from the mess, and then go back when refreshed and start cleaning it, is what I'm doing. I'm reading a book about living with less stuff and I am trying to purge.

We can smother ourselves in our own "stuff" I think, so I'm doing what I've been calling "Winter Spring Cleaning."
NOT fun, because I hate to work inddors and time comsuming because every little souvenir has some time attached; some person or place or event seems linked to every mangled scrap of paper.

I need to manifest a truck ( or borrow a wagon and drive the mare to the dump lol - THAT could be an adventure ) but I'm just piling up what's going out the door and rearranging furniture. Same shit. Different view

My best to everyone here in the forum of peace and wisdom and good sparkly things.

no matter how bad it may seem, there is always someone else having a worse time. Always.

Let's carry our love around to hold as a light so we can get through all of this!

Going through my own hell right now. And I know it is all mine, I , with my fears and doubts are creating it. My life today is good, but my mind is creating all this worry, I'm scared to move from where I am, because I don't know if I can do it. Half of me wants to jump in and out, and half of me wants to build upon what I have. I've never been so scared in my life. But to someone else it would seem foolish. We all have our hells. I know I have to deal with this, and any answer I make will be right. All roads lead to the same place, but we try to take the shorter one, but sometimes the longer is best. I just realized I'm talking to myself right now. Sorry.

I'm scared, too. I never dreamed things would be so hard, and that my daughter would be so troubled. I have felt very alone, indeed, especially today, it seems.

in my opinion.

Seems harder and harder of late, for more and more people.

I hope all of our struggles ease noticeably. Soon.

I had never heard that saying "If you're going through hell don't stop". But it's a very wonderful idea.

I am very fortunate. I constantly say, "I love my life." And it's true. After a divorce (he met someone else he decided he'd rather be with) I relocated 800 miles to a new place, and started a new life. There are plenty of times I'm lonely, and it's not perfect, and last week the last of the three cats I moved with me passed away, but still, I love my life.

As hard as it can be, always remember that things will change. Hopefully they will get better.

I was talking the other day with somebody who's really struggling and I offered the advice that it's like walking thru a shit storm--you keep putting one foot in front of the other and sooner or later you are gonna walk out of it. Keep your head down and your mouth shut and you just gotta keep on going...

My version made sense to her, but your version really does sound much nicer!

Never Give Up
no matter what is going on
Never give up
Develop the heart
Too much energy in your country
is spent developing the mind
instead of the heart
Develop the heart
Be compassionate
Not just to your friends
but to everyone
Be compassionate
Work for peace
in your heart and in the world
Work for peace
and I say again
Never give up
No matter what is happening
No matter what is going on around you
Never give up
