It just feels like victory to me.
Love is here to stay.
Send the selfish Rethuglicans home to play.

(713 posts)but today, there is mischief afoot. I'm still feeling a win but I am also feeling that whatever happens, it is happening in order to be exposed and it will all turn out okay in the end. Boy this is nerve wracking and the mixed signals from all the energy coming in can make a girl feel, well a little ! But yes, Love is here to stay, no matter what.

(657 posts)and felt 2 worlds as plain as all. Its almost sad. They are lost, they are afraid of our world and are listening to all these con men. Their world is gone. I think 2008 took the floor out from under them, but tonight moving forward will become the norm. They thought they would get it back, more will join us now as we forge ahead. There will still be some stubborn souls, but I think this is such a big leap

(2,185 posts)I was totally wrapped up in the election turmoil...
then Hurricane Sandy hit, and we managed without power for a week.
Imagine: no MSNBC, no electric, no internet, no heat or cooking.
We had to throw out all the food in fridge/freezer..
only listen to NPR via battery radio.
I packed a bag every morning, and went to work very early,
showered/washed up, and ate out.
I charged my phone/lap top/nook at work,
and made the best of it.
Not complaining, really; so many on the east coast lost everything.
So.. when power came on.. I had to go to professional conference in Poconos..
which was really lovely.. it was work, but it was a respite.
However, tv channels were limited.
Saw the returns come in via a tv in a bar late night.
Celebrations were... well..limited.
So now, reality. I knew it my gut it would be Obama,
IF the election wasn't stolen.
And yes.. it is a victory...
but we have a long way to go.
There's still such resistance.
But light, and life.. and love prevail.
But.. are there more Pluto/Uranus/Neptune repercussions to come?
My prayer is for a normal time.. calmer times.. peace..
