"The Gift of Others"

by Matt Kahn

The appearance of others offers you the chance to speak out loud what you've been waiting to hear your entire life, while embracing their uniqueness as a conscious act of self-acceptance. Anything less than this standard of conduct turns you into a victim of circumstances, where you are capable of treating others in a manner that is less than the love you're worth. As this insight dawns upon you, it becomes obvious to see how your experience of others has nothing to do with how they perceive you, but is reflective of how loving, accepting, and forgiving you are toward them. Even when you find yourself treating another in a way that is less than the love you're worth, it is a clear sign to make your own heart the object of your affection by accepting, forgiving, and loving yourself as never before.
