Please send healing/supportive thoughts/prayers to my friends
Our young friend and her husband are having their first child. It's all Molly has ever talked much about since she was a young girl - getting married and having a family. Her due date is May 21st, but she's been having complications and has been in the hospital for the past week. She'll be in for the duration of her pregnancy, however long that is.
Apparently she went into mild labor over the weekend and they are trying to hold that off. So far, nothing they do seems to be working very well. The drs feel that the baby will be born some time this week, but said that every day they can keep the baby tucked safely inside mom, gives it more of a fighting chance once it's born.
Any healing prayers or thoughts you could send would be much appreciated.

(12,224 posts)The report that we received this weekend was that the drs all thought the birth would happen over the weekend, but labor progression has backed off and amniotic fluid level looks stable (both very good things, and things that were totally unexpected by her docs).
