Words
I had a dream I was going through some old books that belonged to my dad. I found one called "Words." Each chapter took on a different author and just destroyed him or her. There were authors who I thought deserved the treatment, like Ayn Rand. Some of my favorite authors were included, like Jane Austin, Richard Matheson, and Mikhail Bulgakov. Each chapter mocked the author's style and annihilated their themes.
It was an amazing read. I called my dad to talk about why this book was so powerful. This is the last thing I said before I woke up:
"You cannot have doing without undoing. You cannot make a truth without allowing it to be unmade. Otherwise, you get religion, cults, factions, jingoism. You must allow things to be destroyed, even things that are true, beautiful, even things you love - or else you make a monster."

That is a really difficult one. At first glance, you think you get it because you understand about duality, but there is so much more to it than that.
Thanks for posting this. There are a lot of facets to this that feel like a next step for me.
Yes, it's scary to me to truly absorb. I want to hold on to the things I love. And I'm afraid to be without the things I need.
How does my attachment feed into a greater societal attachment during this time of transformation?

(52,904 posts)are working on right now. Another part of it is that we have to participate in the destruction of these things we love or believe to be true if we are ever to understand those things.
My mother recently died and we are renovating the home I was born into, preparing to sell it. It's a process of so much destruction and building, and it is so true that only as things pass away do you really come to understand things that happened and what their context was. Many bad things become positive, many good things are forgotten, or seem worse, or seem better. The understanding of them as they pass away is completely different from the understanding of them as they happened.
There are just worlds in the words of that dream of yours.

(18,928 posts)like a direct quote from Pluto. That's the work it is doing at this time. It will show up on the material plane, but it begins inside ourselves.
Mtsar talks about this a lot. He says before the chemical wedding, there must be a chemical divorce.
It is mystical. I can't wait to see where we end up.
