Card of the Day: The Magician

He has the symbol of eternity above his head. He wears a belt that is a snake swallowing its own tail, another symbol of eternity. He holds up a wand in his right hand toward heaven while he's point to the Earth with his left. On the table before him are the instruments of the Craft and symbols of the Minor Arcana, each representing an element of life: air, fire, water, and earth. Around him are roses and lilies in a garden in full bloom.

This is a card of personal will aligned with the Divine. The flowers are the manifestations of his desires. It is a card of mastery of wisdom and skill. Occult knowledge. The ability of this person to will their desires out of thin air. He indeed has mastery over his environment.

So what do you see?

and the concept that we create our own reality out of the material of our thoughts...when this is in a reading, to me it means that the person is taking responsibility for their life and making things happen for themselves...and sometimes it can also mean that the person has become a student of metaphysics

Is the magician's great secret. The activating power changes one thing into another. Represents the toolmaker and the shaman. Fire allowed grain to turn into bread, clay into stone, metal into useful objects.
