Ghosts of Shepherdstown (WV)
This show was very well done, and the thing I liked was that it included history. Shepherdstown, WV is located near the Civil War battlefield of Antietam where there were 23,000 casualties, many of whom ended up in the hospital buildings in Shepherdstown. The town is called the most haunted town in America.
The four-man police department was run so ragged investigating calls about paranormal activity that the police chief called in a team of paranormal investigators. There were always reports of ghostly activity, but the activity has increased to affect the whole town.
This six-part series started last week at 10 p.m. on Destination America, but the first and second parts will be shown at 9 and 10 p.m. on Sunday, June 19.
If you enjoy a good ghost story, don't miss it.

(1,593 posts)and about a mile from the Antietam Battlefield. My house and barn are on the town's ghost tour, though I can't claim to have ever experienced anything. Almost every house in town was used as a hospital after the battle, so there certainly must be a lot of restless spirits.
Beautiful part of the country, as well!
