Barrett Vote
If Sterling and Linda G are right about Barrett not being approved I think that will be known on the afternoon and evening of October 24th.

(58,785 posts)all but confirmed. Knowledgeable discussion is about things like whether shell need to recuse herself on some votes (of course not), how much her appointment will hurt the Republicans, etc. Im sick and have been over to Fox a number of times While lying around, and several times seen an ad about the plot to make mandated coverage for pre-existing conditions unconstitutional. And of course that national healthcare, currently the ACA, is to be made unconstitutional by judicial fiat is also being hit hard.
For what its worth, shell be a bitter price, certainly an obscene replacement for Ginsberg, but I am among those who believe that itll be worth it if it helps us gain control of the Senate, and the presidency.

(59,599 posts)I think I read that the vote is supposed to occur on Friday.
That nominee belongs in a padded cell, not on any judicial bench. Anywhere. Ever.
