Anyone want to be my co-host?
Lucinda is taking good care of herself by stepping back and so I'm stepping forward looking for anyone who has the time and inclination to co-host our little sandbox.Shoot me a PM if you're up for it!

(15,888 posts)I may not be here as much as I could (I work hard hours in a nusing home) but I'll be true.

I meant I may not be around much longer on this website. New Agers haven't done well in these parts this last year and the time may come when my number's up. But I will be happy to serve as a co-host until that time.

(31,411 posts)You are right about New Agers. I wonder sometimes if it is deliberate. I know that during the last primary, Hillary Clinton supporters were targeted by other Duers. Maybe this is similar.

I believe it's just to keep an eye on the forum and watch out for any threads that might be way off topic or help someone if they aren't sure how to do something. It seems to me that this forum doesn't need much herding - so it's probably what you want to make of it. I loved Lucinda's pinned posts with archives and information so maybe we can do something like that to help those seeking information?
Honestly, it feels like it can be whatever you want to make of it.
A forum can have up to 20 hosts so I am thinking of making those who kindly offered hosts. Probably no more than five or six, I'm thinking. Up for it?

(75,480 posts)I wouldn't be able to give this group the attention it deserves. That's one of the reasons I never served as a moderator. I didn't think I could be as attentive as I should be. Right now I have a lot on my plate to sort through.

A couple more to come, perhaps!
