Beautiful video from Chile about Rumi and Danae who were arrested and acquitted . . .
for leading ayahuasca ceremonies.

(4,225 posts)A Witch hunt!!! Thats exactly what it is. I thought there were religious exemptions for Shaman ism???? (Is that even a word?)
These people are highly educated and have an experienced practice.
Rumi and Danau are nothing less then heroes Though they just wanted to be Healers!!!!
It never ceases to amaze me with all the toxic goo Corporations put into the Food, water, and air. Not to mention the crap they put into legal pharmaceuticals then turn around and tell working adults that we cannot choose to put natural remedies into our Bodies!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
This really Pisses me Off!!!!
Thank you Richard D. I hope you will keep us up dated on any developments or anything we can do to help.
To the best of my knowledge, the only countries that have recognized ayahuasca use for shamanic (healing) purposes are Peru, where it's recognized as a national cultural treasure, Ecuador, Bolivia, Venezuela, and Colombia. In the USA it is legal for use, technically only in Oregon and New Mexico, but in both places only in the context of religious use, by the Santo Daime church in Oregon and the UDV in New Mexico. Suffice to say that the religious use of Ayahuasca goes back only a short time, while the shamanic use of it goes back well before recorded history.
I am happy that the situation in Chile turned out how it turned out. I hope soon the rest of the world will recognize the value of this amazing healing tradition.

(5,198 posts)is it the most peaceful wise visionaries get persecuted? All through history, this has been going on and so few are left on Earth. These plants help people communicate with Mother Earth.
