Don't be fooled by this coming eclipse at 0 Gemini on Sunday, 7:47p Eastern
Writers will be attempting to make light of anything Geminian. But, the eclipse will be squaring Neptune and widely to Chiron.
Instead of the light-hearted Bugs Bunny energy of a New Moon in chatty Gemini, it will TRIGGER the powerful transiting Neptune, the spiritual one. I expect it to be a time where we can make great progress mentally (Gemini) with our spiritual understandings (Neptune). But, for some, it will be uncovering areas that simply are one too short in the fig leaf department, just saying.
Ultimately, it's a great energy, but it's very tough on those who insist on the old ways of separation; the more you hang on to the old or the hidden, the more it will be exposed and risked.
Nothing to worry about if you are truly a seeker. You'll feel this one, eclipses bring massive lucidity, clarity. May it be the best for you.
It's time to go skinny-dipping spiritually.

(3,794 posts)Neptune and Pluto can't even decide which one to bring down next. There's corruption under the corruption.
Remember, the repubs are having a Neptune return in their chart in about 6 years. That is close considering its
186 year orbit. Translation: They're MELTING!
lol
I'm going to spare you ALL, you oughta see Mitt's natal chart.

(6,002 posts)Heck, I'd love to know how a chart for JP Morgan could be figured, what date would one use. Seems they've been a morphing entity with tentacles galore.
The astrological trends are one of the reasons why so many people read here, myself included.
Well done, Rick, well done! Shine on, my friend.

(3,794 posts)Since a New Moon (Solar Eclipse) in Gemini must have to do with communications and all types of information gathering and dispersion, Neptune will be squaring the eclipse from what is called the "solar 10th house". That means the big boys. Patriot Act stuff. Assange stuff. So, look for all kinds of activity to try to hide or try to uncover massive amount of information and the rules that make that possibe. (10th house is big gov.)
Don't be surprised and piece-meal attempts to govern/control the Internet too. Sneaky sneaky sneaky. Who does that remind you of? There will be many sides to this. The US and the world is in the MIDST of redefining everything (Pluto in Capricorn) so, questions of data-gathering (that's Gemini to a "T" will be of foremost interest.

(623 posts)As usual, after reading your post I was oh so excited about the future, then, you tease us all with talk about r$'s chart.
In my best Jon Stewart imitation, shaking my fist in the air and saying "DAMN YOU UNCLE RICK", and then humbly saying thank you so very much for all that you do for all of us.

He was certainly destined for public recognition.
I see what you mean by perverted pie.....hides his true self.
Having no earth explains why he cannot relate to the rest of us.
Ricochet21
(3,794 posts)his complete inablity to relate personally to ANYONE. In a way, I feel for him; try as he may, you just can't make your Venus allow love or someone else IN. He over over over overcompensates at all times. Then, his Moon in Scorpio next to Jupiter on his descendant puts up the phony happy face. He means NONE of what he says.
The WORDS come out, he's totally detached from them as the eyes constantly ask, "Did you accept that?" "How about this?" etc.
Everything he says is translated as: "Will someone please accept me as a normal human being". Goes way back into past lives.
He must have been a dog riding on his papa's wagon and pooped himself.

(7,398 posts)What do you know about him? Why does this creep have so much power?
Ricochet21
(3,794 posts)but in his chart, see the round face probably Leo rising, Moon opposite Sun/Neptune
the great deceiver, similar to Rove's chart. Charming bs.
And a way to verify having no emotions from the rest of his chart, I won't share with you bc people misunderstand.
It's not so much that he's "powerful", it's more that he's real deluded like Rove, and lost sheep like to follow such people.
He SOUNDS intelligent, until you realize that's it's all Republican, i.e., I got mine, you go get yours. That's more like it.
And NO, not all Librans are like that.

(5,510 posts)Their public persona is one that will do "what they believe will make them popular". This fits Norquie to a T in my book. Since his "big issue" is taxes, I figure he has very strong Pluto, Scorpio or 8th house in his chart.
Yep. Just as I suspected:

(3,794 posts)which gives Pluto rising. He's brutal, never stopping, but always in mild sheep's clothing. Perfect republican leader. Ruthless, I think
Doesn't matter, Neptune is dissoling their party. Astrology says, "you must be based in the Divine or will lose becaue you are not real"
That's my opinion.
THe secret aspect in his chart is little known Johndro, 165 degrees which is exactly how far his Mars is from his Pluto

(5,198 posts)and how cool to find this thread, thanks Rick!! Activating Neptune sounds good, and so does spiritual skinny dipping!!
I saw a thread in GD with a website showing how the eclipse will look in each state:

(8,423 posts)the event, so I have been monitoring myself the last few days. And the last days were tough, in a very stressed out way,and today, I feel like I have a hangover and am totally brain dead, like all I want to do is hang my tongue out say "Duhdooberduhdoober", and then sleep for a million years, but I have found myself in the last few hours with a wave of loving answers for a ..uh er...get this,a Gemini friend. , and then I think I will treat myself very kindly to some loving answers for me.

(13,428 posts)Felt like I was sleeping off a week long party! My Gemini teen has been sacked out and almost boneless on the sofa since noon--and is STILL down for the count as I type this. (Hubby the Scorpio napped too, btw.) I had just chalked it up to the entire family being ready for some "down time" in the midst of our rat race lives--but now I'm really wondering about it...
Maybe we were all just resting up for the fun ahead!!

If I get off now and take another nap maybe I can still catch it. I can't record it. Sleep wants to be my new best friend. Holy crap what a takeover. ....Oh, meant to mention, earlier this afternoon, I actually found myself checking my pulse!

(13,963 posts)took a HUGE nap today...sloept from noon to almost 4 and that is unheard of with 9&10 yr olds !!!
they are pretty thrashed from a sleepover camping with friends... but then we went ot the Lake and caught the eclipse. I brought my drum and prayed by the water as it happened...
as it was getting close, we saw the light on the water shift and change, there were additional 'sparkles" besides the big ones, they were rainbow and textured, very matrix-like... very cool and strange. I have believed for a long time that eclipses do something to the magnetics of the planet and even on an atomic level, like turning on & off switches in our DNA and maybe even the actual makeup of 'solids' and now i think that may very well be true. It was powerful for sure...
oh, and this morning first thing, a HUGE bear walked by on the street, just cruisin'...i guess he came to say hi!
felix_numinous
(5,198 posts)hangover. On a whim I visited friends who were hiking out to a rock to view the eclipse--a big deal since only the past week I've felt a surge in energy/light/mental stuff. This is such a gift after 2 years of feeling ill. I hiked, though it took me to my edge, but I was sure footed and so ecstatic to be so far out in nature.
I'd a dream the morning before, of a void with symbols around it--it reminded me of the galactic center and all the messages coming through during the alignment, and also it looked like an eclipse with light and symbols emanating from it.
It was a really cool dream and hike with friends--but last night I was too tired to sleep and am a bit strung out today, definitely an energy shift going on for me.
Blessings and bright light to you all~~fn

(22,028 posts)I have had a headache for the past several days but today it's gone. I wonder whether the headache was due to a buildup to the eclipse.

(15,758 posts)I had headaches off and on for a few days before the eclipse, especially Friday and Saturday, and I don't usually get headaches. I figured it was eclipse buildup stuff too. No headache today.

(657 posts)Mine was sun and yesterday, it's finally gone. And I very rarely get headaches also.
Ricochet21
(3,794 posts)the buildup of powerful energies from Neptune and Gemini certainly could have overloaded your circuitry, but it didn't cause it.
Difficult to explain. The fact that it TRIGGERED your natal Mercury opposition to Saturn is more like it.
I hope you feel better.

(22,028 posts)I had an eclipse conjunct my ascendant a few years ago and didn't feel it. This one was a whopper. Not only did I have headaches, but I had a shift in perception Sunday afternoon. I also had some things in my life reach critical level.
It's good to know the astrological basis for these huge changes.

(8,423 posts)this am. What a nice morning, damp outside, but it always makes everything look greener, you know?..Really I had a major Neptune bliss going on...yes, indeed very nice!
I was productive today and biz plans were incoming, incoming..
I was compelled to write: "Massive Lucy!-Write it all down!" HAHAHA!
"Out of some grateful golden slumbers,
My pen is not fast enough with all of my ideas
I once again feel the luxury of a peaceful bliss while something sweet and forgotten
Has come totally
Back Home into focus.."

(14,881 posts)The day before the eclipse, I learned that the lab brought in a consultant, who told them that they need to lose 1 full time person and use their per diems (me) less. And I saw a preview of June's schedule...with me scheduled once again on *night shift* along with my hours being cut from 3 days/week to 2 The whole reason I wanted per diem was so I could say *no* to one thing -- night shift. No bennies at all, lower pay, for the right to say no. Which they conveniently ignore.
The day after the eclipse, on Monday, one of the students told me they had just made him an offer -- per diem -- which he accepted.
So a week after they're told to lose a full-time person and use less per diems, they hire a new per diem?
Handwriting on the wall....I will be giving notice this week, for the week *before* the night shift. fuck them. They're dumping me anyway.
I'm done. I hate this job more than I could ever imagine possible. It didn't have to be this way, but I have never in my life met such hateful people. Hateful. The didn't even have the common decency to allow me to grieve the loss of my love in peace, but used that as an opportunity to sick their brain-damaged, alcoholic janitor with a history of sexual harassment on me. What the goddam fuck is wrong with people?
I had one dream from the time I was 11 years old. It's one thing for your family to not actively support your dream. It's another thing for them to actively sabotage it in every way possible.
I'm now pushing 59, with my saturn return to 0 degrees of my sun sign of Scorpio just a week or so before the sun enters Scorpio.
Forget the teeth, bone, whatever health issues, Rick. I'm done. Stick a fork in me. That is my eclipse awakening.

(29,135 posts)But good for you for getting out. As I may have posted before, there is a ton of purple energy around you right now. The energy of transformation. Then there's some irritated red around the beginning of the summer, but it smooths out quite a bit into emotionally neutral orange by the fall.

I haven't given notice quite yet. I was sick last week, with my oral temp nearly a degree below normal and my auxliary temp 2 1/2 degrees below that. And raging too much to do it right. While I was sleeping off the illness, I heard them talking about staffing.
I will be sending them an email tomorrow. Verbally would not be good.
Meantime, I'll be putting the house on the market tonight. It's not longer a plan to sell. It's a must sell, period. It's occurred to me that maybe I wasn't able to sell before because Algiers wasn't able, at his age, to leave his home here.
