I made it into an earring in the late sixties and have worn it since then. Yes, I remove it to brush it and make it sparkly again.

It's very sentimental for me. My dad reposed one morning in front of me and mom.

And yes, Orthodox Christians do wear some material adornments. It's the inward life of Christ in us that projects outwardly as we have being. That is of more importance than mb sporting a dour face and ankle length dress. My husband is a reader and he wears an ankle length riasson as required. I wear 'prairie' skirts and long fashionable dresses for fun.

This is the umpteenth time this earring fell out. And each and every time St. Anthony assisted.

This is one of innumerable times he found things for me. Each and every time!

Believe or no.

God is Glorified in His Saints!

I had not thought of using this forum to give testimony in this forum. St. Jude has helped me in the past and I often turn to him. I plan to use this forum to thank him for his assistance.

Perhaps Catholicism and Orthodox Christianity (Group) should begin doing so as well.

Their selfless lives account for them being beatified.

They have lived a life way contrary to many. Stripping themselves of earthly cares and materialism in order to acquire the Spirit of Peace.

St. Seraphim of Sarov who said, "Acquire the Spirit of Peace, and those around you will be saved."

So I used his words in part for my reply.
