Do you work with your dreams much?

I think that a higher power can speak to us through our dreams. You can think of it as the soul or God or the collective unconscious or a departed loved one or however you please. But it's a part of us that has more wisdom and can show us truths about oursleves that we might be missing or that we just aren't willing to see ordinarily.
I have had a series of dreams lately starting on 3/1/18 and proceeding to last night that have really spoken to me. Yeah, I'm one of those nerds who writes this stuff down. I keep a dream log or diary. One thing about dreams is that they are highly personal. You can ask people to help you with interpretation and they can help you sort it out, but the ultimate meaning is very private and unique to your interior landscape.
I had a dream on 3/1/18 about boundless spiritual love. It was a very potent dream and I awoke right after it feeling this energy right in the center of my chest (what I hope is the heart chakra opening), and feeling as if I was going to cry tears of joy. It was really intense and one of the best dreams of my life.
That same night I went back to sleep and had a second dream that was very poignant. It was about extreme poverty and specifically involved the theft of my wallet. I woke up sort of troubled. How could these two types of dreams co-exist in the same night? They are both dreams that I will always remember; they were that strong.
Last night I had a second dream that involved my wallet. It was dark out and someone stole my wallet and threw it out into the darkness. But, amazingly, I then reached into my back pocket and produced my wallet.
I think I understand what these dreams are telling me now. There are two main concerns in my life right now. One is spiritual matters and the other is money. I am actually doing okay financially. I'm paying the bills and I'm setting back some for retirement. But it gets a little tight between paychecks sometimes and I worry about it.
I was at the grocery store with my wife yesterday, and money is kind of tight right now. The more stuff my wife put in the cart the more I tightened up myself and started to get irritated.
I think what these dreams are telling me is that this worry about money is getting in the way of my spiritual development. I think God is trying to tell me not to worry so much about it, especially with that second dream about the wallet. We always get by alright, and if we don't have enough there are people who can help us. I should focus more on the spiritual matters and trust God more. I also need to be frugal and keep an eye on my money, but it doesn't have to take on this element where it disturbs my well being.
By the way, if you are interested in studying your dreams, but don't usually remember them, I used to have the same problem. But of you go to bed with a simple prayer to ask God or what you think of as the higher power to help you remember your dreams, that can be effective. It worked for me. I've also found that if upon awakening I immediately sit down and write out my dreams to the best of my memory, I am more able to recall dreams on subsequent nights. Ask and you shall receive.
