God's Not Dead Film Review & Christian Nationalism

Renegade Cut (Patreon) is worth a look, imo, for Jesus Christians coping with the crosscurrents of politics and christianity. He has been on YouTube for at least 10 years, presenting source-based videos on various topics like "Anti-Fascism," "The Enforcement of Hierarchies," "Abortion and Autonomy."

In this instance, RC challenges the right wing 'God's Not Dead' film series shown in theaters during Covid; he challenges how the films support the 'entitlement' of christians to the land of America itself; he thus examines the underpinnings of christian nationalism. Christian nationalists are trying to lay the groundwork for the claim of the Christian ownership of the nation -- that the Founding Fathers were Christian-leaning religious men.

This video underscores what we Democrats are dealing with...
-- christian nationalists who refuse to accept or even tolerate "the separation of church and state" that is foundational to our democracy & all democracies;
--- that in the use of their version of Christianity, cn's want to end democracy and establish a fascist dictatorship;
-- that our democracy supports the freedoms of religion much more than (any) religion supports the freedoms of democracy.
