The Christian Left

Hi everybody. I don't hang out here much so I'm not sure if this has been posted already. I scanned the topics and didn't see this so I thought I'd share it. Sorry if it's a dupe.

There is a Facebook page called The Christian Left that posts frequently and has lots of good articles and graphics. If you are on Facebook and get bombarded by the crap your right-wing friends "like" this is a good source for respite or rebuttal. Here's the link...

It's nice to be able to read Christian articles that are not right-wing based. Maybe my "friend" on Facebook will finally get the message that I don't want any of his anti-Obama, right-wing fundy crap on my facebook page

I know what you mean about those anti-Obama, right wing fundy posts. They depress me.

I just "liked" them
Sometimes I feel like we get bombarded from all sides. Fundies think we're not "really Christians" and non-religious think we're idiots. (not trying to start a war here, but especially among us liberals). The GOP takeover of the Fundie churches has really hurt us mainline Protestant and other non-conservative churches, as many people, especially the unchurched, fail to make the distinction between "us" and "them".
