Wishing my DU Jewish family a happy Passover.
I'm attending a community Seder at my synagogue tomorrow. The rabbi is very pleased he convinced the board to serve brisket this year, and I'm looking forward to it. Tonight after work I'll do something on line, although I've been cooking as if I'm serving 4-6.
I'm making a 2 lb kosher turkey breast from trader Joe's and roasted baby potatoes, the only things left to cook. Already made a rainbow tzimmes, sauted and froze veggie medley with fresh asparagus and mushrooms, and prepared several containers of charoset, to eat and share.
Hope you enjoy the holiday festivities.
As we celebrate our freedom, I will think of others who are not free, and of our current battle to remain a free society.
