Nearly 100 Jewish organization leaders, journalists, and rabbis have signed onto a letter calling out Elon Musk for making X, the social media site formerly known as Twitter, a breeding ground for some of the most dangerous antisemitic discourse in America. According to the letter, which can be read in its entirety here, it isnt just the lack of content moderation and Musks reinstatement of unapologetic antisemites to X that has sounded the alarm. It is also the Tesla founders willingness to spread overt antisemitism while attacking the Anti-Defamation League that has raised serious concerns. We are alarmed by his targeting of the ADL: not because of our views of the organization (we represent a wide range of views, including some who fundamentally oppose the ADL as well as staunch supporters), but because of the way he has used the organization as a very clear stand in for an antisemitic representation of Jewish power, the letter reads. In particular, the letter singles out Disney, Apple and Amazon, imploring them to stop funding X through their ad spend while also demanding Google and Apple remove X from their app stores. Musk did not respond to a request for comment. A request sent to Xs press email address was returned with the companys standard auto-reply.

The CEO of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs called Trumps post antisemitic.
Trump marks the end of Rosh Hashana with an antisemitic post accusing Jews who voted against him of destroy[ing] America & Israel, Amy Spitalnick, the CEO of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs, posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Jonathan Greenblatt, the CEO of the Anti-Defamation League, said in a statement to CNN that Trump was playing into conspiracy theories about dual loyalty.
It is dangerous and wrong to suggest an entire segment of the Jewish population voted to destroy America and Israel, Greenblatt said in the statement.
The American Jewish Committee posted on X: Claiming that American Jews who did not vote for Mr. Trump voted to destroy America and Israel is deeply offensive and divisive. As we approach one year until the next election, we urge political candidates from the top to the bottom of the ballot to avoid incendiary rhetoric.

Trump attacks 'liberal Jews' amid Rosh Hashanah holiday

The attack drew condemnation as antisemitic by Jewish leaders and politicians.

The CEO of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs, Amy Spitalnick, called the post antisemitic. The Tel Aviv Institute, an Israeli nonprofit combating antisemitism, said Trumps remarks are strengthening antisemitic attitudes in America. The daily newspaper Haaretz, the oldest in Israel, described it as an ominous warning to American Jews, noting the majority of U.S. Jews are not supporters of the former president.
Next time you attack American Jews, think twice before about doing it on one of our holiest days. Your antisemitism is loud & clear, wrote Rep. Jerry Nadler, a Jewish Democrat who long represented the most Jewish congressional district in the country. And your fear of democracy supporters here & in [Israel] is showing because you [love] authoritarianism.

Kansas, Missouri Jewish leaders criticize Trumps attack on liberal Jews on Rosh Hashanah
Jewish leaders in Kansas and Missouri on Monday criticized former President Donald Trump for comments he made on social media that attacked liberal Jews and accused those who voted against him of voting to destroy the country.

Rabbi Doug Alpert of Congregation Kol Ami in Kansas City excoriated the former president as antisemitic in a phone interview.
Hes an antisemite, he said. I would describe him as a neo-Nazi sympathizer and he will court anybody who will say hes wonderful or vote for him.
In a statement Gavriela Geller, the executive director of the AJCs Kansas City affiliate, the Jewish Community Relations Bureau, said Trumps statement was an utterly inappropriate and highly offensive way of engaging with the Jewish community on one of our holiest days in the year.

I guess since they didn't meet your standards of criticism of Trump, then they should just keep their mouths shut when other anti-Semites mouth off.
