Please pray

All, if you can, please say a prayer for me that my life will improve. That I'll have family support. They haven't been supportive and I feel like a burden.

Pray that i work out what's best for me with my partner. That I have enough money to leave. That my jaw pain resolves.

That something positive happens. TIA

I was scared after 22 years of marriage..how am I gonna survive? What will happen to me? It wasn’t easy, my Friend, but I will tell you what I learned…you’re stronger than you think you are. If you are truly committed to live a life free from abuse, you’ll find lots of support out there wherever you are. I’ll hold you close in my thoughts as you have some decisions to make and prepare for what you want for yourself. (( ))

YOU! I believe that once you rid yourself of the toxic people in your life, you will be better equipped to deal with the jaw pain. Hell, their toxicity may be a reason the pain hasn't subsided. As the church folk say, sometimes you just have to step out in faith.

If your SO is abusive there are, no doubt women's shelters in your area. (Be sure to clear your history if you look them up for your safety if SO is abusive.)

Depending upon your state / area, some women's shelters can help get you into an apt & even to get a job if you want one.

If you have a teaching credential, get a resume into dodea.edu. Give pays your flight and often provided housing.

Tell him/her how much trouble you're in with the pain. Something might be wrong, or you might need medication to get you through the worst of it.

In fact, I've been praying daily. Just felt nudged by something you said here one time. I have my daily reminders popup, so just had prayed earlier today.

Some good food for thought from some of those who have posted. So glad for their wisdom. Prayers for your safety as you move to safety and away from toxic people.

We are here for you!

I hope some of the self-massage techniques at the above link can help ease your physical pain.

But clearly you need to work out the family and relationship issues to alleviate the long-term stress.

Please talk to a dr. and a dentist so they can help figure out the cause of your jaw pain. Hope all is better for you soon. Hope your family can and will help you.

Apologies if I mentioned this some other time.

I did clench my jaw for a few years (anxiety related) I lost a tooth bc of it.
I finally thought this up for myself.
It worked! 👍

Anyway, pick a color that is most relaxing to you.
Then on each side of your jaw imagine this color gently enveloping the top of the big jaw muscle on each side. Let the color expand, and gently slide down the muscle on each side till it reaches the bottom of your jaw.
Hold the color all over, and gently open your jaw about half an inch then let it close slowly, and let the color drain out the bottom of the muscle.
Repeat If needed.

I hope this'll bring some relief. It might take some tries. Good Luck!
