For my 5,597th post I just want you all to know that if lead is bad then radaition is not.

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by eppur_se_muova (a host of the Science group).

Why? Because I'm going to post a lot of graphs and links to scientific papers that will show that lead is bad for you. It will be 100% obvious that lead is bad for you, well, in certain forms and concentrations but I'm not going to say that because it will undercut my argument that lead bad, radiation good. I will also show that radiation is not bad, when diluted in an entire planets ocean namely the earths. But i'm not going to say that heavens no. I am going to pretend that because of that radiation not bad when anyone with any knowledge of science knows that any substance in a concentrated form is bad, even oxygen. Then, and this is the whopper, because we still have a pollution problem with our forms of energy production I will say that the one I dont like (and not paid to push lol) namely renewable energy has not fixed the problem while ignoring that hey, neither has nuclear. I will also say that people said things they never did and when confronted with it not be able to prove my point but instead resort to name calling because I am an old man that acts like a child.
These are the things I will do.

Eko.
Have a great night.

Thanks,

I often ask "I'm not an antinuke" antinukes a very simple question.

It's this:

If so called "nuclear waste" is so "dangerous," please provide evidence that in the seventy year history of its accumulation am example of where its storage has killed as many people as will die from dangerous fossil fuel waste in the next two hours?

They're a very stupid and puerile bunch. They whine and make excuses but they don't answer the question.

The fact is that their ignorance and paranoia defines, exactly, for me at least, exactly how uneducated, unread, and dangerous as they are, the precise and exact equivalents of antivaxxers, although it must be said that antivaxxers certainly didn't kill as many people as antinukes have. After all, 18,000 people die each day from air pollution while antinukes cower in fear of used nuclear fuel. Covid never killed 18,000 people in a single day, even on its worst day.

One of the very amusing things about antinukes is that they have no sense of shame. They are completely uninhibited in displaying their mentality, their contempt for science, and worse, their contempt for humanity.

And, of course, they lack wit, not that they have enough wit to recognize as much.

Have a wonderful work week.

The juxtaposition of comparative dangers, losses, and environment degradation ... It's staggering. And utterly demoralizing.

Man, did we get sold a bill of goods!
