Wondering what could be lurking at the bottom of large bodies of waters is a topic that may keep you up at night.
Whether you fear you could run into a Megalodon or stumble across a haunted shipwreck, a dive down to the depths isn't the most attractive idea. But thankfully, there are some people who are brave enough to explore the seabed in the name of science.
A National Geographic team took a dip down to the bottom of the English Channel in the hopes of finding its 'lost city'.
The bottom of the water may be more familiar to humans than we think, as it's the site of an 8,000-year-old civilisation.
Scientist Albert Lin waded through the bitterly cold waters to track down the ancient metropolis just off the Isle of Wight.
