Dumb Duggar Girl And Dumb Husband Explain Atheists Don’t Exist (Kind Of Like God)

There is something in Texas called the Institute for Creation Research, and one of the reality-TV-for-Christ girl Duggars took a field trip to it, with her husband. This is the same Duggar who field tripped to the Holocaust Memorial Museum in DC, where she learned that Charles Darwin did the Holocaust with his just-a-theory of evolution, so abortions are bad. (Homeschooling for the win!)

Duggar-in-law Ben Seewald and his little lady Jessa went and got themselves edumacated on the “scientific” “evidence” that the Bible is real — LITERALLY real, and literally literal, according to the “research” “institute” and its leader, Dr. Jason Lisle, apparently the foremost expert on saying THE BIBLE IS REAL!

Ben interviewed this expert, and Jessa shared it on her FaceTube, we guess because now that she’s married, Ben can be in charge of doing all the talking and learning and thinking for her. What a relief!

Wanna know what the Duggars learned on their latest learnin’ excursion? Shut up, you’re going to hear about it anyway, but yes, we can drink all the booze when we’re done. Teach us some shit, Dr. Lisle:

The evidence of God is ubiquitous, it’s everywhere. And in fact, Romans I tells us that God has revealed himself to everyone. And what that means is there really is no such thing as an atheist. There are those people who profess to be atheists, but in their heart of hearts, they know that there’s God because God has revealed himself to everyone. He’s hardwired us to know that he exists. And he’s hardwired us in such a way that when we look into the universe, we immediately recognize it’s the handiwork of God. And not just a god, the God. We recognize God.

So I don’t really have to give new evidence to a professing atheist. All I have to do is expose his suppressed knowledge of God, because you see, in Romans I again, it tells us that the reason that unbelievers profess, you know, they say there’s no God, et cetera et cetera, it’s not because they don’t know Him, it’s because they’re suppressing the truth in unrighteousness. The Bible says.

Yeah, there’s a whole lot more of that nonsense — like, six minutes of it! — but you get the idea. Dr. Lisle can prove the existence of God because the Bible says he doesn’t even have to prove the existence of God, THE BIBLE SAYS! And anyone who doesn’t buy into his bullshit is clearly deluding themselves, hahaha, poor dumb bastards.

Anyway, that should clear everything up about creation, evolution, the Bible, and the non-existence of atheists. But do be sure to stop by the Institute next time you’re in Texas if you have any more questions, because surely Dr. Lisle will be happy to not explain it to you further, because he doesn’t have to, THE BIBLE

Also, he has written many “books,” including one called Taking Back Astronomy, good fucking god, and you can probably buy all of them at the Institute, and Ben Duggar-Seewald-Whatever says you should buy them books, uh huh, because then you’llpt learn stuff too.

We hope the next Duggar field trip is to a bird refuge, where they can look at some storks and learn how babbies are formed.

The comments are hilarious.

The owners of the old educational Learning Channel went bankrupt in 1991. Insert H.L Mencken quote here - "Nobody ever went broke" etc.

Another outfit formerly known for science/education programming snapped up TLC - The Discovery Channel. DC moved TLC to a - HA! - "reality-based model." And that's how we got shows like "Jesus Population Explosion," "Thongs That Kill" and "Mondo White Trash."

I like to comfort myself by thinking that some of the Duggars and their ilk will probably end up on my own favorite Discovery Channel outlet - the true-crime shows on the ID Channel. "We were leaving for church when the Devil grabbed the steering wheel and ran over my spouse...4 times..."

She likes watching freak show tv and she is the smartest person I have ever met and we have different tastes so I usually keep my yap shut when she just relaxes and watches Dance Moms or Kardashians or whatever. She hates a lot of what I watch. We share some shows and that's cool.

But when she watches this show, I tell her I hate it and that the Duggars are horrible fucking people. I tell her everytime. I hate them so much. Their bigotry and hate are just too much. Just another notch in the belt of my hatred.

I don't watch any of the other Oxygen Channel trash, like "Rolex Preachers" etc. But I love "Snapped" and its ugly kid sister, "Snapped: Killer Couples."

The title implies the show is about women who "snap" and whack their SOs. And sometimes it is. But just as often it's about women who are cold-blooded murderers.

One of my favorites is Celeste Beard Johnson. Her story has EVERYTHING. A gold-digger, an obese elderly sugar-daddy, twin daughters who turned state's evidence to burn Mom, and a lesbian with a shotgun. Naturally, that one happened in Texas.

I recently picked up this nifty paperback - "Exposed: The Secret Life of Jodi Arias" by Jane Velez-Mitchell.

On-Topic Part - the peek inside Mormonism is fascinating, especially the Church-approved mating rituals. The church has "Single Adult Wards" for people aged 18 to 30, whose members are expected to pair off like Noah's critters.

For those approaching age 30 and still unyoked, the process seems to become a sad and frantic game of musical chairs. If you hit 30 and are still unmarried, you get booted into a general "Family Ward" and are on your own.

There's a great scene in the book about a guy coming on to Jodi Arias. He poked her panty line and discovered a thong, commenting: "That doesn't feel like magic underwear." Jodi responded: "They aren't magic underwear. But there's magic in them."

Thanks for the "Grace & Frankie" tip. Sounds like fun!

I can also highly recommend "the lowest-rated show in ABC network history" - The Assets. About the 1980's hunt for CIA turncoat Aldrich Ames. The people who nailed Ames were mostly female CIA employees, and their thankless job was nothing like the usual James Bond/Jason Bourne spy fantasy. Which is probably why it failed. But being weird, I watched all 8 hours at one sitting and was fascinated.

Those CIA women had to fight the entrenched old-boy network, of which Ames was a fully vested member. (And a legacy - his father was a CIA bigwig.) They were constantly undercut and stonewalled by their own bosses. It's an incredible story.

I got through the whole thing somehow, and I still am at a loss about where the proof of god's existence is. I can only assume that my "heart of hearts", whatever that is, was removed when they took out my appendix.

And there is still that stale argument that without god, there would be no morality. Forget that there are tribes of humans who do not believe or even think of a god, and they can still live a harmonious life. Forget that every animal has their own "moral code", which is basically just a way to survive together.
