we decided to turn it into a source of pride and accomplishment. Given the person who labeled us vermin is on record as telling women affected by Catholic birth control policies to just "go to the store and get rubbers" and comparing marriage equality to marrying one's bicycle or dead grandmother, I feel quite happy with the label.

I think it's pretty cool.

But be warned, only the lowest and most filthy vermin are awarded a badge after demonstrating valor and honor. Your ordeal to obtain one will be long and difficult.

Then again, he might just slap one together for you in 2 minutes like he did for me.

We are considered vermin by some, so why not embrace it...I think it's cute.

You had better watch the hides though. Someone else will take some hides if it is necessary....don't screw yourself over a few posters who are not worth it.

I don't know how badges are earned, so I can't help you there.

"Some people" does not include me. I wouldn't think of calling people names.

However, if you have ever been considered vermin by some people, it is best to play along---before you are called a demon or a Dawkins lover or something. Even if it is offensive.
